IOT Freeform Designer

Kalahari has now been updated to include an interface to the IOT Freeform Designer software via the external calculation engine interface.

Frame Inventory

Frame Inventory has been extended to allow import and export of the products by the valuation screen.

It has also been extended for the creation of purchase orders.

Kalahari Backup

It is now possible to have the Backup automated by running with run time parameter BACKUP.

It is expected that this will be added into the Santiago activity list so that the backup can be launched overnight or whenever convenient.

Minus cyl

There is a new setting under Job Entry which will mean that cyls will default to minus cyl format.  

Plus cyls will have to be explicitly set.   

This is for those organisations or countries where minus cyl is the norm.

A&R Focovision

A&R Focovision focimeters have been connected to Annapurna / VCADevice. This will allow automated reading of the lenses at QC and recording of the measured powers into Annapurna, can be useful if the customer queries the measurement.  It is also possible to pass over compensated powers if available from the lens manufacturer.

Update 20.09.14 - the measured powers can now be viewed in Annapurna.
